On date 26/6/23, when I was trying to activate Flipkart’s seller account, then Flipkart asked for brand approval, it requires trade mark, which I did not have. But I had only GST BRN and MSME registration which was not enough for brand approval by Flipkart. I thought that when I have worked so hard, why not take the trade mark so that this name remains with me, I thought that now I have to apply for the trade mark. so was searching on google about it how to take and how to apply. I took the help of Google to know how much is the fee or what documents are required and it took me a lot of time to gather more information. I came to know that it is very difficult to get trade mark by yourself, you will have to take someone’s help. Then I was searching like this, I found a startup that helps in trade mark, whose name was Startup Wala. I filled their registration form and waited for their reply.
Date 27/6/23 time at 3.07 pm a report was shared with me from the team of Startup WALA in which there was something which made me nervous and scared about this name. In that report, there was a list of names similar to the name Petshala , which they had searched before applying the trademark. those names were PetShaala, PETSHACK many more. But the first name scared me a lot because that name was completely similar to Petshala. Then I searched about the registered name, they did not have any shop or social media account. they did not have any web site. this name was not very old. Which was fully registered, I could not do anything, but still I had hope that I would get the name, in this hope I talked to my coordinator. Then when I talked to him, he said that you have the possibility of getting this name, don’t take tension sir, we will do it. Even after talking to him, I was very scared that I would get this name or not. The same time had come before me when I changed the name to babapetshop because of the trade mark. The same time had come in front of me when I had changed the name to babapetshop because of the trade mark and I was looking for what I could do but I took the name of God and asked the coordinator to apply, which will be seen. After applying I am just waiting to get my name I think I will get this name only I kept working hoping this was my journey till June 27 of 2023.
Now I used to check Status till 20/8/2023 when I checked it was showing Send to Vienna Codification.
When I checked on 28/8 the status was showing Formalities Check Pass.
Date 5/10 I checked the status of my trade mark from the normal date and saw that it was getting objection.
